When your organisation needs a solution to short courses on Health and Safety, WWISE e-Learning offers a variety of courses to choose from. Our short courses are built on the principles of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, as well as the ISO 45001:2018 Standard to deliver useful and relevant information for delegates who attend our short courses. These courses are also ideal when your organisation considers developing and implementing an Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) in the foreseeable future.
An Introduction to the ISO 45001:2018 Standard
Our range of short courses on Health and Safety kicks off with the ISO 45001:2018 Occupational Health and Safety Awareness course – with a duration of 1 day and a total of 12 months of access to the course material. This course provides delegates with an overview of the ISO 45001:2018 Standard, along with any other important ISO Standard that relates to Occupational Health and Safety. It highlights the similarities, differences, and specific requirements for each ISO Standard to be considered by an organisation before implementing an OHSMS.
This short course on Health and Safety provides the industry with a model to clearly understand, establish, manage, and improve occupational health and safety hazards and risks within their familiar work environment. The ISO 45001 Standard has been revised multiple times, and this course reflects current OHSMS organisational concerns in terms of the current ISO 45001:2018 Standard, especially when it comes to the workplace and employee awareness. Subsequently, this ISO Standard now implements controls to manage the prevention of injuries and fatalities in the workplace.
Course Assessment
All our short courses on Health and Safety will include a mandatory assessment at the end of the course. No matter the outcome of the assessment, delegates will be issued with an attendance certificate at the end of the course. Delegates must achieve a score of at least 60% to receive a certificate of competence. Should a delegate score between 40% and 59%, they are eligible to complete the assessment one more time to score 60% or more. If a delegate fails their second attempt or fails to achieve a minimum of 40% from their first attempt, they must repurchase the course to be eligible to complete the assessment from the beginning.
