This course focuses on aligning IT services with the needs of business. In its current form (known as ITIL 2011 edition), ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) is published as a series of five core volumes, each of which covers a different IT Service Management lifecycle stage.

This implementation course and standard allows IT service provider organisations to achieve conformance to a Service Management System by implementing the ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018 requirements. The course aligns to the IT infrastructure library (ITIL) best practice framework. It helps external IT service providers to become a competitive differentiator for delivery of IT services.

This course helps participants to learn how to audit based on the ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018 Information Technology – Service Management System including principles of auditing, competence & evaluation of auditors and the audit process as per ISO 19011, with particular regard to audit planning, conduct of audit and reporting with impact to the management.
